CommunityAt Trademark, our purpose is to enhance communities, enrich lives, and create extra ordinary environments.
We are committed to making a positive impact on the communities we develop. At Watters Creek, we will always look for ways to make a difference, honoring our connection to the community and the environment.
We look forward to working with our neighbors here in Allen and throughout Collin County. CHANGE FOR CHARITY Change For Charity funded by proceeds collected from Watters Creek street side parking meters, Change for Charity provides assistance to selected local non-profit organizations. Four local non-profits will be chosen each year, each representing a three-month quarter, to receive a percentage of the funds collected from the non-governmental meters. At the end of each quarter, the recipient charity will receive a check. Watters Creek will also use some of the funds to host community events such as free concerts, family and children’s activities, art festivals and seasonal events. Non-profit charities interested in applying must meet certain eligibility requirements, which include:
THIS QUARTER'S BENEFACTOR The recipient for this quarter's Change for Charity is Allen Community Outreach. Opened in 1985, Allen Community Outreach (ACO) has helped families living in Allen, Fairview and Lucas to rebuild their lives through the many services provided. ACO is a non-profit organization, funded in part by Collin County United Way, an affiliate of United Way Metropolitan Dallas. The majority of funding for the agency comes from local, individual donations and fund raising activities. Like building blocks, rebuilding the lives of a family takes many blocks, each carefully laid to build a foundation. The loss of employment, a family illness and unpaid bills can all cause a family to break down and create a feeling of helplessness. Help obtaining the skills to rebuild lives is available at Allen Community Outreach. For more information on Allen Community Outreach, please click here. |
